On 25th of September, an Agora discussion was held in Kamenica on the topic “Increased participation for good governance”, with guests like the vise-mayor of the municipality, representative from the Department of Culture, Youth and Sport, representative of the Office for Communities and Returnee, as well as other municipal representatives.

Youth, women, and other civil society representatives that were present at the meeting had the chance to be informed more about the work done by the Municipality and discussed about the decision-making processes and methods of citizen inclusion in those decision-making processes that are of importance to them and their community. Youth requested that the municipality of Kamenica to continue their inclusion in all of the decision-making processes and also that their requests, needs and concerns continue to be taken into consideration in the future as well.

This activity was organized by the non-government organization Center for Kosovo Society Depolitization (CDKD) within the framework of the “Increased participation for good governance” project, implemented by the Democracy for Development Institute (D4D) and financially supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
